Becoming a patron of our farm will allow us to offer the best care for the animals and provide therapeutic supplies for our program. Your generosity will help us continue to provide a nurturing, safe and supportive environment, not only for the animals, but for the children and families we serve within our communities. There are several ways you can become an honorary patron to Tam O'Shanter Farm.
Hank is our rescue pig, who arrived to our farm in March 2022. Hank was living in an 8x8 shed with insulation falling out and a dirty, musty floor. He was cold and uncomfortable! Access to outdoor space was limited to an 8x10 area. Instead of a robust pig's diet of grains and proteins, Hank was only fed canned dog food. His interaction with humans was minimal over the year and a half that he lived alone in the run down shed. Now, Hank thrives with lots of love and his favorite fruits and veggies
Moe and Curly relocated to our farm when their human mom passed away while living in Florida In January 2022. July 2021, they waddled their way to a wonderful woman’s house. Although the woman tried looking for their owner(s), she found none, causing her to take them in to provide a safe, loving home. When the woman sadly passed away unexpectedly, Moe and Curly found their forever home here in Massachusetts. They love playing a good game of chase, good luck catching them!
Colt and Everest were first to arrive at Tam O’Shanter Farm in August 2021 when their family had to sell their property. The twins had lived together, along with their chicken friends and beloved human kid playmates. Missing their first family, they learned about the many different forms family can take. Colt and Everest are always ready to accept scratches between their horns!
